jwoerner Posted May 3, 2009 Share Posted May 3, 2009 hey guys this is a great forum so i figure i lay a question for everyone.. i hope it is in the right area...!! i have recently been dipping my hands into the OSx86 Scene really just because i never was able to really use a Mac to its potential.. Ok anyway .. I have recently was able to successfully install OSX 10.5.5 on my HP DV6775US laptop and dual booted it with vista premium.. i then was then just screwing around on the internet and i saw that you can run mac os x from a flash drive.. so i dled XxX_x86_10.5.6_Install_Disc_Universal_Final figuring it would be awesome to have the new one.. but i cant seem to find a tutorial on how to install 10.5.6 on a flash drive.. so i followed the instructions on how to install 10.5.5 on flash drive and i got all the way to the end where it said checking disk.. then it checks all the way though but when it starts to calculate how much time remainng for the installl it then says it can't be installed.. is it that 10.5.6 cant't be put on a flash drive.?? appreciate it yall..
