OK - I have a fully functioning boot132, Retail 10.5.6, Chameleon 2 RC1 on EFI partition install.

Windows 7beta 64 (separate HDD.) My guide can be found here

I've messed around with a software RAID and have a working install using nathan7's Chameleon 2 RAID tutorial and backed up with karaakehal perfect guide

I've been scratching around the forum and have found couple of peaches on RAID

Here on the RAID FAQ and some great advice from peach-os here

I've ordered 2 sil3132 2 port PCI Express RAID cards from my friendly local internet store.

I intend to create a boot132 with the SiliconImage3132r5.kext included in the Extensions.mkext

Make a striped RAID0 in BIOS with my 2 320gb Samsung spinpoint drives for OS X

And a striped RAID0 with my 2 Seagate 200 gb drives for Windows7x64

Does anybody see any major pitfalls with this approach?

And can anybody offer me any advice?

As per ususal I should do more reading before I jump into things !!

It's well documented that the 32bit SiliconImage3132r5.kext cause kernal panics if your system has 4MB of RAM or over.

My 2 sil3132 cards have now been RMA'd

Not one to give up - it looks like the slightly more expensive HighPoint Rocket RAID cards support 10.5.

rsandra has had some success with the rather reasonably priced Rocket RAID 2320 here

As I'm getting nearly double the data rate with a SW RAID I'll press on!

I'd be keen to hear any advice on this.
