AndySTT
Wow, I have the latest DVD based iso image installing now on my main machine via VMWARE (daemon tools .iso to drive cheat) however I'd like to install OSX on my second machine natively and commit that to OSX full on. Problem is without a DVD burner I can't get the image across to the second machine without installed XP first and running under VMWARE again (single disk). I've BOOTP + TFTP installed FreeBSD and NetBSD before and was wondering if OSX86 could be forced to load the setup via TFTP. I've quickly tested and the second machine gets an IP and downloads bootx but stops there. Any ideas? Thanks A P.S. First post - great work!! AndySTT
Thanks for the response, however this sounds like I'll end up with another XP + VMWare machine, I'd very much like an OSX only second machine to get some true performance out of it (while running OSX). Is it possible to write the .iso as a full file system and boot from that? Link to a howto? Thanks in advance A Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/16473-network-install/#findComment-106087 Share on other sites
