10.5.6 on eee 1000HA

I've recently been in the market for a netbook to install OSX on and have narrowed my choices down to an MSI Wind U100-279US and an Asus Eee PC 1000HA. I prefer the stylings, price ($~300) and chiclet-type keyboard of the 1000HA, but the from everything I've read, 10.5.6 is far easier to install on the MSI Wind.

 

There seems to be no definative guide to installing 10.5.6 on the 1000HA, although there are some random blogs and sites that report the 1000H/1000HE guides on ipis-osx and enik work the same for the 1000HA but little is consistent. Some guides have said the wireless card needs to be replaced, others suggest a workaround. Some say the BIOS needs to be flashed (with the 1000H custom BIOS), others disagree.

 

Has anyone been successful with installing 10.5.6 on a 1000HA and can provide some guidance? This is my first foray into OSx86 territory, but I'm very, very familar with what the guides suggest needs to be done.
