I think the new Mac Pro uses some Intel Tylersburg-based motherboard (which this is). I seem to remember someone saying they got a different TYAN running on a vanilla kernel. This is what I would ultimately want to do. I have looked around and found some positive experiences getting TYAN mobos to work, but haven't seen anything about this one, which is relatively new. Would love any info! I will guinea pig it probably (hopefully) if no one has any experience with it (out of the ppl who happen upon this thread of course).
