I am running iPC 10.5.6 on my AMD system. Does anyone know of a shureshot way to make the built in audio work in two channel at minimum (multichannel would be nice). The audio hardware is not detected by the OS thus is not allowing be to get any sound. A quick response would be appreciated due to that i need to start making recordings for my band and I have a show for church that I need to prepare for.

Sorry, no help from me at the moment. I am currently mucking around with my computer running iPC 10.5.6 with various patches and fixes to get mine working. Will let know if i get it working. I tried iDeneb on this computer and the dvd would not show the installation screen. It would boot and then shut down. I had a successful install on a Dell inspiron 6000 using ideneb 10.5.6 with fully working everything except wireless network adapter. The audio in the laptop was the AC97 based chipset.

UPDATE: i had a successful install on an acer aspire 3610 laptop with the Intel chipset. Everything worked except the wireless is a bit iffy and i and still working to update to 10.5.7. Any help would be appreciated.
