I KNOW this has to have been discussed before but I just can't find it. I am at work so I haven't had time to do a very extensive search. Please don't hate me.

Anyway, Using a Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L (rev 1.0) and Intel E6550. Just installed 8GB of PC8500 1066Mhz Corsair RAM. Is there any way to get Leopard to recognize anything over 667Mhz? In system info, it shows my mac as an iMac 1,8. Does that have anything to do with it? Is there a way to change that?

Another issue is, and this has nothing to do with Leopard, I had the processor OC'd to 3Ghz (2.33Ghz stock) with my previous RAM (G.SKill PC6400 2x1GB 800Mhz 1.8-2.0V). When I installed the new RAM it reset the OC to stock. When I tried to re-enable the OC it tries to boot before resetting itself again. My new RAM is 2.1V so I'm sure I need to raise the voltage in BIOS. Quesiton is, will this allow me to OC again and it stick?

Thanks for the help and sorry again I couldn't find this with a search.

Jeff
