Cobra42
Hi, I made the install as per below mentioned instruction on my I9300, 6800go, 60gb HD, 2 GB RAM... Step 1. CLEAN INSTALL iDENEB V14 ( I partitioned it GUID) Erase all.... Step 2. Customize your install exactly as I write here PS2 Fix Mouse ONLY! AC97 Audio ICHx Fixed Chipset 9.5.0 Voodoo Kernel (great job guys!) AppleBC440x for Ethernet Broadcom for wireless....(Go buy a damn broadcom miniPCI for wifi $20, Works f'n great) Under AppleSMBIOS pick nothing leave them all blank Under Fixes.... IOUSB Family Fix... Seatbelt Fix...Battery Manager Under Video....NVDARWIN 256mb don't use NVinjectGO Applications pick all of em! Why not! Netbook.... Nothing!!! Step 3. Install.... (SKIP THE CHECKING OF DRIVE THING SAVE TIME!) Step 4. With your DVI hooked up you should hear the intro music and see the intro for Leopard in great quality!!! Enter your info and get to the desktop! Make sure you have your ethernet line plugged in.... Check it out you have Leopard on your monitor... but how do i get it to my laptop where i want it?..... Follow these instructions exactly and you will have no problems at all!!!! I followed everything except the kernel which I modified to 9.2 Speedstep (after recv. a critical break) and came up to the intro / reg. But no sound! Also altering the sound to Sigmatel Inspiron 9200 - 9400 is not functioning. The hardware overview shows no device for input / output. Any hints? Thanks and best rgds, Cobra42 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/164248-installation-dell-inspiron-9300-nosound/ Share on other sites
