Colonel Posted May 1, 2006 Share Posted May 1, 2006 First of all, I recommed that you get a newer version of OSx86. 10.4.3 is a good one for newbies because it supports the most hardware. I suggest you download this and then write back if you are still having problems. macgirl Posted May 1, 2006 Share Posted May 1, 2006 When you get "Hardware not supported" error you are on a no SSE3 capable Processor PC, althoug Mac OS X can work with some patches for SSE2 procesor you need also to patch the Installation DVD to bypass that SSE3 probe at boot.
