John Doh Posted April 28, 2009 Share Posted April 28, 2009 I'm running 10.5.6 voodoo kernel (Asus P5Q, Q6600@3.6Ghz, stock kernel doesn't work) with an ATI 4870, it all works, I get decent geekbench and xbench scores, but I can't run Sims2 it just bombs. The check program says my gfx card is unknown, and puts a red x on it. Anyone know of a way of getting it working? Is the game hard coded to only work on an Nvidia card or will it work on ATI cards too? Is it using a compatibility layer, (wine, etc.) or is it coded for OpenGL directly?
