FruitRocks
I've successfully installed JaS 10.4.8 into vmware. however, when I boot my system up (no vmware) and select my dvd drive at the BIOS, and boot JaS into verbose mode, i get halfway through booting up into the install screen. it then says, "Waiting on Root Device....." My DVD drive doesn't have a green light flashing on it, like it should have when the drive is running. Why??!! pjmiller435
hey man. well vmware does state to you that it may only work inside a virtual envoirment. It's happened to me countless times, installing even xp and it booting fine in vmware but then when I psychically try to boot from that disk/partition, didnt matter which type it was, it wouldn't boot. Can I ask why you're using vmware over the psychical route of just booting off of a dvd. Or you being like I was, trying to use vmware to avoid burning it, lol.
