slowdiver
As eyerybody knows, tiger has an option since 10.4 to rotate the screen (pivot) on ati-based graphic cards (enabled by holding the option key while opening the display tab in preferences). as i only have a gma 900 but a samsung syncmaster 171m (well supported with xp) i would like to enable this option somehow under OSX86. when typing in rotate in the preferences tab, tiger told me option is not available cause of ´device has no geometric data`or something. anybody knows how do do it? any software somewhere? offall
I have exactly same problem as you see Actually , I remeber when I just finish intall 10.4, I am able to see the rotate tab by pressing option key but now it is gone, I don't know what I have done, (I didn't change the video driver) from the error information, I bet it is has something to do with the display. here when I look into about this mac, it says no display connected, so osx can't read the geometry control information in the monitor, we need somefix for this I believe Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/16368-rotate-screen-pivot-option/#findComment-310591 Share on other sites
