psounder Posted April 22, 2009 Share Posted April 22, 2009 hi - Im trying to install JaS 10.5.4 on my DELL 4500. The DVD starts and gets to the initial menu. I press F8 and select -v as the boot option. The boot halts soon after posting "waiting for boot device" message. There may be other messages but they have scrolled off the top of the screen. I have successfuly installed JaS 10.4.6 on the machine with no issues and was hoping to upgrade it to Leopard. Any ideas. One thing I'm using a PS/2 mouse and keyboard could this be a problem again all's fine when running the Tiger configuration?
