Beymen Bussines
It is possible that your harddisk is MBR... that doesn't work with the Mac OS X system. Insert the Mac Install DVD, use Disk Utility -> Erase your complete Harddisk -> Delete all partitions Reboot Insert the windows install DVD, use Repair Option go to Command and enter Diskpart Convert your harddisk GPT to GUID!! instead of MBR Reboot Insert the Mac Install DVD, use Disk Utility -> Create 4 Partitions -> For Windows Use Fat File System, For Mac Use Mac Journaled Reboot Insert Windows Install DVD, Install your Windows Vlista. Finish Reboot Insert Mac Install DVD, Install Your Mac. Finish Keep the DVD in the player, don't touch anything if it doesn't work Start your pc keep the Mac DVD inside, hit F8 and then try rd=disk0s0 if that doesn't work reboot, Hit F8 with the DVD try rd=disk0s1 if that doesn't work reboot, Hit F8 with the DVD try rd=disk0s2 if that doesn't work reboot, Hit F8 with the DVD try rd=disk0s3 if that doesn't work reboot, Hit F8 with the DVD try rd=disk0s4 if that doesn't work reboot, Hit F8 with the DVD try rd=disk0s5 if that doesn't work... than buy a trashcan and compare it to your pc. So after you came into the Mac installation, you must install EFI And after you've done that, you can repair your Windows Vista Startup And then use the EasyBCD! Good Luck. ricki
there is no need for the previous post, if you search a little bit you will find out that this problem has been treated several time. what you didn't or forgot to do while installing is to flash or make your installation partition ACTIVE. So check whatever instruction you use and try again. make sure the mac partition is primary with id=af. when installing open terminal, type this fdisk -e rdisk0 f 3 update write exit and you should be fine.
