Thomas Winwood Posted April 22, 2009 Share Posted April 22, 2009 I have an HP 530 with a Celeron M running at 1.87GHz. I installed iATKOS 5i following the instructions given in the OSX86 Project Wiki and had a working system. The headphone jack didn't work, but that's okay - my headphones have a USB adaptor. Then I upgraded to 10.5.6. Still no problems. Then I upgraded to Security Update 2009-001. Suddenly the USB stops working. This is a problem - now I have no mouse (only the touchpad which I loathe) and no headphones (only built-in audio through the normal speakers). Could anyone offer some assistance? EDIT: Thanks to the help of GhaleonX on the IRC channel I found out all I had to do was repair permissions and reboot. Thanks to anyone who read this and thought they might be able to help, and thanks to GhaleonX.
