OSX86Geek Posted April 29, 2006 Share Posted April 29, 2006 Hi there I have a weird problem with my 10.4.5 installation. I used MacOSX_10.4.5DVDPATCHED_Myz.iso for a fresh install. Everything works, but when I try to use ? at the boot menu to show the boot options it only displays cippled text. The textfile itself seems to be ok. Any ideas here? Thanks for any feedback. I havent been bothered much as I remember the common codes and havent had much boot related problems.. yet.. Would be nice to know if this can be fixed though... OSX86Geek Posted April 30, 2006 Author Share Posted April 30, 2006 It must be related to the bootfiles in usr/standalone/i386. Replacing these files with older ones may fix it.
