zonex Posted April 20, 2009 Share Posted April 20, 2009 hello every one, i hope u help me fast thanx in advance :- my prob is that after i nstalled the ipc final or iatkos v5i on my pc it restartes to finalize and after that it shows the count down "partition boot selection" when it finshes the count down it restartes inestently and with out showing any msgs or even the gray boot screen my pc specs are:- mobo: GA 945pl s3 rev 2.0 "Gigabyte" VGA : nVidia 7300 gs inno3d 256MB CPU : intel P4 3.0/2mb 1 gb 512x2 of ram 533 . ps: i tried the -x and the -v on load but no thing it just restarts cant find any same cases ! plz respond to me asap thanx every one Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/162887-ipc-final-reboot-loop-help/ Share on other sites More sharing options...
AlphaKev Posted April 20, 2009 Share Posted April 20, 2009 I have the same problem but I also can get to the installer. i used all the distros ex: ideneb v1.4, iPC 10.5.4, lawless, le04allv3, leo4all v4.1, iatkos v5i etc.. It starts booting from the DVD and then it just restarts. Have you tried it on Vmare workstation because i've managed to get passed the problem with ideneb v1.4 and manged to go to the installer. I am able to install 10.5.5 but when it finishes and reboots it loops over and over again. I have no idea. I hope that I am choosing the correct drivers and stuff when doing the install. There are so many choices and combinations to pick from. I will try to pick something else to see if it will fix the problem. Like the chameleon bootloader instead of the PF one. Sigh Also Do i select 9.5 Kext? I notice that kext is not checked when installing.
