Ok,

So I have installed 10.5.6 on an ACER Power 2000 and low and behold the LAN, Audio, and even Chameleon boot loader don't work.

So the 1st item:

Chameleon Boot Loader

Using V2.0 the computer boots and shows me the partion on which OSX is installed, I get the hacked apple icon and the waiting icon, and every time an error message pops up telling me that I need to reboot my machine. And trust me this is getting old.

So I am stuck using the boot loader CD that I am borrowing for the time being. Need help here guys, I have never used a MAC so I don't know the terminal at all. I know UNIX but this is not enough apparently.

2nd item:

LAN access, I searched the forum and found the correct ID for the NIC I have but I can't find the IONetworking to download or file to edit so that I can make the changes I need. Again requesting all possible assistants.

3rd Item:

Audio, ya I haven't even gotten around to trying this yet seeing as how I can't get the boot loader or LAN, kinda more worried about that at the moment.

Like I said, call me whatever you like but I have never used a MAC so I don't know what I am doing here, on a positive note my Dell Laptop with Ubuntu 8.10 works just fine, so I figure there has to be a way to get the Hackintosh ACER to work.

thanks
