zreon
Hello everyone. I am currently running Kalyway 10.5.2 fine, but would like to run the retail version. I have followed numerous guides and tried tons of different boot 132 discs with no success. The only thing I can figure out is ACPI has an impact on how far the load process will go. If I have ACPI turned on, the gray install screen pops up and my computer instantly restarts. If I turn ACPI off, the gray screen pops up but it just has the little loading thing in a loop. If I run with -v I see the following in yellow text "Failed to load extension com.apple.driver.AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement Anyone have any suggestions on what the problem could be? Here are my computer specs: Intel P5K pro Q6600 MSI HD3850 4xgb ram SATA Dvd drive 2 x 640gb WD AK6400s Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/162815-having-problems-installing-retail-on-p5k-with-q6600/ Share on other sites
