I have installed retail osx on my dell mini 9 with the fantastic step by step guide and now I am ready to build a desktop from scratch. I hope you guys can help me with a few questions. So basically you do the following?? 1: download boot 132 2: load kexts onto it for mobo 3: boot with boot 132 4: install osx 5: install additional kexts QUESTIONS? 1: am i on the right track? 2: Is there a certain mobo thats known for being the most compatible(quad core)? or even straight up vanilla? 3: most compatible video card in the $100 range? 4: Do I just go to the database and pick components that are listed as useable?
