10.5.6 Q6600=1 core?

Hi guys

 

I have a Intel Q6600 and have using leopard 10.5.5 (ldeneb) for a few months. But i have a problem, i only have one core working...what the hell are the other three cores?.

Could anyone help me to activate them?

My computer is:

Q6600@3.750mhz

Muskin 8gb DDR2 1.000

Gigabyte X38 DS5

XFX 8800gts 512mb

 

In other hand i am planning to make a new instalation but i dont know what version is better for my computer...IPC, IDENEB, KALIWAY...and what kernel?
