Billmaster
Now my sound is broken, I am looking to get the Indigo IO. It has drivers for OSX. This is A PCMCIA Sound Card. Anyone try it? bluedragon1971
Please someone test this for me! It's the only sound soultion I can think of! It's easy to find a USB sound dongle that works with OS X. Here is a link to the one I bought on eBay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...Y_BIN_Stores_IT Works perfectly, no drivers to load, no patching. fOZf8
I have an Echo Layla24, and the OSX drivers released only a month or so ago don't work at all. I'm not a woefully skilled Mac-o-mator or anything, so I'm not sure if there's anything I can edit to make them work...but I did try a few things to no avail. killjoy
Compared to the echo indigo, USB sound sucks! I have one with no luck of working. Intel Macs don't support PCMCIA anymore so there are no drivers being made for those devices. Great, I'm screwed for awhile then...hopefully theyll still do PCI based drivers for em, else for me it's Windows for the next few years for sure. falkon72
I just installed OSX on my intel and I'm not getting it to work. I guess we'll just have to wait. Anyone have any way to fix the skipping in the AC '97? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/16215-indigo-io/#findComment-116159 Share on other sites

Intel Macs do support PCMCIA however I'm not sure if Apple is aware of that? Chun-Nan made for example some kexts to support PCMCIA in some notebooks and so on... I think if there is some experienced mac-o-mates around here interested in modifying old powerpc drivers, this would be really great Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/16215-indigo-io/#findComment-1118162 Share on other sites
