chris7519 Posted April 14, 2009 Share Posted April 14, 2009 I recently switched from a iPC install to installing with a Retail DVD. I previously had the sound working properly on my HDX16t. However, after switching over, I no longer have sound. I previously used Kext Helper and installed the AppleHDA and HDAEnabler.kext's for my Intel IDT Audio chip. Now, I simply copy the kexts that I need onto my "MacLoader" partition in the extensions folder. ALL of my other kexts work properly except for this one. I even tried kext helper again with no success. Is there any reason why a retail install wouldn't allow me to obtain sound? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
