Pyrotechnic
I've got a Dell B130 laptop I'm trying to install OSX on. Pentium M processor and Intel 915/910 chipset with GMA900 graphics for those not familiar. I have two of the OSx86 DVD's, Kalyway 10.5.2 and JaS 10.5.4. I am not able to start the installation with either. With the Kalyway DVD, I got a kernel panic, something ACPI related from what I can decipher from the error message and then everything stopped. I then tried the JaS DVD, and I got further with no kernel panics, but eventually I got a solid light blue screen and everything stopped. Is there another distribution I should try ? or is there something simple I am missing to get the installation going ? Thanks Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/161948-dell-b130-cant-start-installation/ Share on other sites
Pyrotechnic
I tried both the 2 pin and 1 pin dongle tricks for this video chip and none of them helped JaS get any further than that light blue screen. Anyone have any ideas ? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/161948-dell-b130-cant-start-installation/#findComment-1132164 Share on other sites
