opticledilusi0n Posted April 27, 2006 Share Posted April 27, 2006 System Profiler shows my DVD/CDROM but whenever I go into "Finder" the drive is not listed... *ABOVE FIXED BY RELOAD* apparantly... everyone is having this issue with an older radeon card... below I have an ATI Radeon Mobility M6 LY with device id 0x4c59 Also programs such as iChat, ScreenSaver selection thingy, and occassionally Safari (iChat and screensaver crash as soon as they are opened) anything that crashes... has this in common in the report com.apple.ATIRadeonGLDriver MacOSx doesn't recognize the card as anything other than Standard PCI Graphics and claims that CI is not supported and QE is not supported. is anyone currently working on a driver for older series ATI Radeon Cards? *EDIT deleting all ATI kexts/bundles = programs work.. just slowly* thanks in advance Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/16194-dvd-not-seen-and-some-programs-crashing-due-to-open-gl/ Share on other sites More sharing options...
