DieHards77 Posted April 13, 2009 Share Posted April 13, 2009 Hello, I have a Dell Latitude D830 and I run ubuntu intrepid ibex im trying to instal iATKOS_v1.0ir2, when I boot from the cd It goes to the grey screen and loads for a while then turns off so I ran the textual diagnostic boot and it shuts the system off right after it says "unable to make library/logs" or something close to that I forgot the exact wording. Has anyone else had that problem ? Thanks a lot for the help I appreciate it I just checked again what exactly it said and it said "there was an error creating directory library/log filesystem is read-only" how can i give write access to the file system? DieHards77 Posted April 13, 2009 Author Share Posted April 13, 2009 UPDATE: I used the -x command and got to the setup with iatkosi5 but now it is not letting me mount my harddrive or any of my partitions?
