zer0chi11 Posted April 12, 2009 Share Posted April 12, 2009 Whenever I plug in my external hdd, thumbdrive, or even my iPod touch into any usb port on my laptop, my laptop freezes and tells me that i need to restart my computer. I am using iDeneb 10.5.6. I am using a compaq c500. Please help as I would very much like to use my portable hdd in OS X (x86) thank you very much. p.s. i am new to the OS x86 project. thank you again. "I recommend you to install the "USB Drivers--Patched USB Drivers" from iPC10.5.6. Be sure to uncheck everything but the USB Driver at this time. However, being in the computer business and being Cisco certified, not being able to figure this out on my own has made me feel quite stupid.
