SwithDrawn
I recently clean-installed a vanilla 10.5.6 (10.5.4 retail with 10.5.6 combo update - using Chameleon/EFI). Everything is dandy, but when the machine wakes from sleep, there's erratic mouse behavior (at first, mouse sensativity is increased, then returns to normal, then starts jumping and freezing). The keyboard is still responsive at this time and I can apple+tab to save/close programs. A hard restart fixes the freezing/erratic mouse. I did not have this problem on Kalyway 10.5.2. This seems to be a problem related to actual Mac Pro's per this thread:http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=8843282 - it appears to be a widespread problem with 10.5.6 and has not been solved yet by Apple Support. I was wondering if anyone else has this problem and knows of a fix that pertains to Hackintosh users. I've tried changing the hibernate modes as described here, but it does not affect the problem. I have.... Dual Quad Zeon E5405 Harpertown Procs (8 Cores) Intel 5000X Northbridge and ESB2 Southbridge EVGA Geforce 9800GTX 8GB Buffered ECC Ram Creative Audigy 2 ZS Vanilla 10.5.6 Everything is fully functional except for sleep. Any ideas? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/161644-1056-wake-from-sleep-issues-erratic-mousefreezing/ Share on other sites
