Hi everybody,

I've done a couple of hackintosh installs before but never one on a HP laptop.

I have been able to successfully boot the Installer and install OS X, but on the reboot it always ends up hanging at some point.

I am using the iDeneb v1.4 distro.

These are the full specs of my HP dv2815nr:

CPU: AMD Turion 64 TL-50 Dual-Core

Motherboard: Wistron 30D6

Chipset: Nforce 630M

Memory: 3 Gigs

BIOS: Phoenix Version 2/28/08

Video: GeForce 7150M

Audio: Conexant High Definition SmartAudio 221

Hard Drive: External

CD Drive: Slimtype DVD ATA

Network Adapter: nforce controller

Wifi: Broadcom

I remember that I used the AppleNforceATA chipset driver when I customized the install, but should I use the new driver? Or what about the MCP67 driver?

Any help on the proper driver configuration for my machine would be just amazing.

Thanks,

iMaxS

Sorry for double-posting, but I am pretty much stuck here and a little help would be awesome.

So plzzzz help,

What do you see when you boot with -v.....?

What do you see when you boot with -v.....?

The reboot hangs at: "localhost /usr/sbin/ocspd[(some number)] starting"

The login window has been started, so is this a problem with the graphics? I didn't install any specific graphics driver, I just went with the AppleNforceATA chipset driver and the Voodoo kernel, plus a couple of fixes.

Here is a screenshot of the verbose boot:

Any ideas?

Thanks,

iMaxS
