kromozone
I checked the wiki and the D-Link DWA-542 was reported as being one of the cards that worked OOB in 10.5.5 (No mention of 10.5.6). Anyway I just dropped the card in, booted up fine the first time, but got a kernel panic after running the card for about 10 seconds. When I rebooted I got a KP during boot, restarted with -f and made it through boot, then turned on Airport again and the system froze. I'm running Vanilla 10.5.6. Do I need to edit the info.plist in IOnetworkingfamily.kext? How do I go about doing that? Here is what LSPCI showed when detecting the card; 01:06.0 Network controller [0280]: Atheros Communications Inc. kromozone
I found the iDeneb AtherosWifi package here: http://www.mediafire.com/?vtvrfzdit1p Now everything seems to be working well in 10.5.6.
