elekt
I booted up my 10.5.4 install for the first time in months, and naturally I began to update. It froze almost as soon as it had started and then would throw kern panics at boot (apparently caused by AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext). So I renamed that kext and tried to boot, and now I get this: ..... Failed to load extension com.apple.driver.AppleACPIPCI Couldn't alloc class "AppleACPIPCI" ..... Then it keeps saying "Still waiting for root device" (yes, I'm in AHCI mode). I tried searching without much luck, I can't boot in safe mode, and the -f flag does nothing. Help please!
