Coburn 64
Alright, I installed a MSI Wind flavored installation of Mac OS X onto my Acer Aspire One (MSIWindOSX86), and it installed correctly (lucky, I guess) onto my 15GB partition I had setup. When it rebooted, it as usual, played it's welcome video. However, no sound was to be heard. Sleep didn't work either, even though it used/installed the modded Sleep-enabled MSI Wind Kernel. I'll try InsomiaX to fix that, maybe. The sound is a RealTek HD Integrated Audio (Windows says Realtek HD Audio output). It picked the card up as "HD Audio Output", but no, it didn't like it I guess. The Wifi driver seemed to load, but in the setup log it said "loaded unsuccessfully". Video works fine. The Acer also has no bluetooth, so I didn't need to worry about that. Does anyone have any suggestions to get sound working? I have got this working out-of-the-box so far, but as soon as we fix these problems, you'll have another person (me) sailing on the OSX86 ship. Many thanks, Coburn 64 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/161389-acer-aspire-one-the-issues-rundown/ Share on other sites
