Help ...... IPC 10.5.6 has no sound

Hi,

 

I just install my IPC 10.5.6 w/ Voodoo 9.5, after that there is not sound, I can see the id in system profile. It used to be working w/ 10.5.5, can anyone give me a hand.

 

Asrock Wolfdale1333-D667 R2.0 w/ ALC662 Sound card

EGVA 7600GTX 256md PCI-E video card (DVI)

SATA II 250 HDD

4G Ram

 

Also system profile show the video card is not support quartz extreme, is that anyway to enable it?

you might try http://nvinstaller.com/ for your graphics card

 

try searching for various alc662 fixes/drivers/kexts/enablers (keywords to use when searching)
