kaigame
Your having the same issue i had with .dmg files mounting. There is a seatbelt 10.5.5 patch from the initial installation which resolves the issue not being able to mount .dmg's. It's possible to add this without a complete re-install, but as i'm a complete n00b, i couldn't figure it out, so i re-installed, with the patch. search for "10.5.5 seatbelt.kext" and you should be able to find some more information. All was ok after that, well, other issues here and there, but i can install anything i like now. Hope that helps, or at least steers you in the right direction. Beerkex'd
Follow this link and grab your Seatbelt.kext: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=148566 The best kernel for your Celeron D is the latest Voodoo Kernel. That won't do anything for your video though. I would buy a real video card and forget about getting the old 865 video to work.
