cmr Posted April 8, 2009 Share Posted April 8, 2009 Hi Leute, ich habe leider ein Installationsproblem mit meinem ACER-Aspire L5100 (so eine Art HTPC). Die Installation bricht mit der Meldung "Still waiting for root device" ab. Leider kann ich im z.B. im Bios auch nicht beeinflussen, ob die Festplatte an Master oder Slave hängt (bzw. im Gehäuse) ;-) Momentan sehen die Einstellungen im BIOS so aus, das das DVD-Laufwerk auf IDE Channel 0 Slave und die (SATA)Festplatte auf IDE Channel 2 Slave hängt... Ich denke mal, daraus resultiert auch die Fehlermeldung. Habt ihr einen Tipp? Danke im voraus!
