So I want to install this iDeneb 1.4 DVD...

... but I don't want to go through hell doing it, so I figured I may as well try to be prepared. I realize that I can probably find my own answers by sifting through various guides, but some of the guides are old and there are sometimes multiple solutions to the same problem. I figured I'd try asking you guys

 

Here is my hardware information:

- Motherboard: GA-P35-DS3R revision 2.1

- 2 SATA drives in RAID-0 and SATA DVD Writer are all plugged into orange SATA slots.

- Processor: Q6600 2.4GHz Quad Core

- Video card: NVIDIA 8800 GTS 640 MB

- 8 GB 800Mhz RAM

- I use the onboard network and audio.

 

My main questions are:

1. Do I need to set any BIOS settings? AHCI or no?

2. What do I need to make sure I select/deselect in Customization?

3. Anything else I need to look out for?
