giroux
Hello I have just installed ideneb leopard on my laptop but I have quite a few problems. The display doesn't look very good, the Internet doesn't work and the sound doesn't work. How do I get these things working? I know that I need drivers, but I do not know how to get them because the internet doesn't work. I am very new to osx86 and I have no idea what to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Gujal
The specs from manufacturer's website are useless 10/100 Ethernet means nothing, similarly 11/54Mbps Wireless means nothing Boot your laptop into Vista/XP, go into device manager and report what ethernet, wireless and sound card installed. Most probably you have Intel Wireless (wont work in OSX), Conexant HDA Audio and possible Realtek Ethernet And as far as your display GMA X4500, no drivers yet. You have to live with 1024x768 unaccelerated for now. Apple may never relase a driver for X4500 now that they have moved to nvidia for graphics on their laptops Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/161033-ideneb-on-compaq-presario-cq50-142us-please-help/#findComment-1127019 Share on other sites
