matusa
Hi there! The other day I installed iAktos v4i in a HP laptop just for fun... The laptop has a Intel Centrino 1.76 CPU, iwi2200, 915GMA, etc.. I have audio, iwi2200 working fine.. but in general, the OS is very slow.. it takes too much to boot.. like 20 min?... and inside the OS, everything is slow... iCal doesn't work.. Safari works fine. Any ideas or recomendations? like using a different DVD for the install? Thanks!! matusa
thanks Nick! Just downloaded iPC, and going to install it in a new HDD (I had one of 30GB laying arround..)... Any things I should do before installing the OS?, like partitioning, setting up, etc..? Thanks! Beerkex'd
Run Apple Disk Utility before installing. It's on the DVD. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/160958-leopard-1054-slowvery-slow/#findComment-1135363 Share on other sites
