I recently got kalyway 10.5.2 working. Everything is working fine, I am posting from it right now. However, when I attempt to play a game, I experience mouse lag within any game. Does anyone know what the specific fix is for this? I'm running amd dual core 64 5000+. Nvidia Geforece 8800 GTX. If anyone knows what may work, or a quick fix, please let me know. I am using NVinject 0.2.0 and in my system my card is recognized as. If anyone knows how to fix this mouse lag that appears to be linked with my video card, as only when in a game, any help would be VERY appreciated.

*Note* I took a look at the disabler.kext fix for mouse lag in 10.5.6 specifically, but I dont know if this will work for me, as that seems to be aimed at Intel CPUs... maybe I am wrong? Anyone let me know please!.

Many thanks!

Hey,

You have a nVidia 8800-base chipset, so I'll assume that you may be suffering from the same problem as 8800GT users.

There's a bug in Apple's drivers for the 8800 that causes many machines to have laggy or jerky mouse movement. This occurs when running iTunes, QuickTime, or a few other programs and seems to be related to the latest QuickTime codec updates (installed via Software Update).

A solution for me when I had my 8800GT was to install an older set of codecs from an older version of QuickTime, using the application named Pacifist.
