System Specs:

Intel Centrino Core 2 Duo

Intel GMA965 Chipset with X3100 Graphics

Intel 82566MM Ethernet Driver

Intel 4965AGN Wireless

Intel HDA Audio (cannot find out what this chipset is called)

My issue is this, I can install it fine, without selecting any video drivers, and then if i boot with

-s and delete all the x3100 drivers, i can boot fine into the OS but only with generic drivers and so a very lacklustre experience.

However if I leave the Native X3100 drivers and boot, It boots to a black screen with white and coloured lines that fade across, which is very artistic but not what i want from my Osx86 install. I then decided to delete the AppleIntelGMAX3100FB.kext file, and reboot and I get one step further. The screen seems to freeze on the white screen with the grey apple, but if i make the Toshiba change its display output to share it with a monitor, i can get a functioning desktop however it is a desktop that is severely interlaced with multiple parallel repeats of it and is completely unreadable. However everything is in the right place, and the mouse is unnaffected by this glitch.

I am wondering if this is a resolution issue (but when i plug to an external display, it looks the same) but then the mouse would surely be affected aswell if it were a resolution incompatibility.

Or whether this is a fault that i do not fully understand.

If this is something without a solution, I may have to resurrect my iBook G4, but that is something i really do not want to do!

Thank you for your patience!
