onelegend
I have a Toshiba P105 Series that I am trying to update I wanted to know what the best way to update would be I've installed OSX using Kalyway 10.5.2 and stuck to the default + vanilla 9.2 kext When I try to go from 5.2 to 5.6 using software update I get kernel panic at 12% installation I also tried using iDeneb 1.3 (10.5.5) and using the Automated update program and it still failed. Is there a way to do this properly? Or is there a place that can give me simple directions on how to install the retail version... Before upgrading, install dsmos.kext if its not already installed AND install an IntelCPUPowerManagement.kext disabler. Search the forums its easy to find. good luck =) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/160878-updating-to-1056/#findComment-1132182 Share on other sites
