Can't format hard drive during Mac install (Disk Utility)

I can boot my system with iPC 10.5.6, Kalyway 10.5.2 & Leo4All v3 (10.5.2) installations but when I go to the disk utility to partition my disk it just stops on "create partition map".

If anyone can help, thanks.

 

P.S. (IDE1 Master & jumpers are fine as well)
