aigochamaloh Posted April 2, 2009 Share Posted April 2, 2009 Got it up and running, all hardware working fine, except my Liteon SATA DVD burner. Had to install the ALC888 kext to get sound working, but it works. My hard drives are SATA, and they show up just fine. I am dual booting Windows XP and this iDeneb 10.5.6. During install I chose the newest kext that said it supported ICH8/9/10. Bios is flashed to the custom 2.00 version. My SATA controller is set as IDE for Windows XP compatibility. Any idea why my burner would not show? My other ATAPI DVDRom shows up fine.
