Zaphod Beeblebrox
After trying for some time to get my onboard realtek nics to reconnect after wake from sleep without success, I decided to search for some add on pci network adapters that work natively under os x leopard. So far I have found two, the Trendnet TEG-PCITXR and the Netgear GA311NA. Both work out of the box, no drivers or efi strings necessary, simply plug and play and yes, they reconnect after wake from sleep. Of the two I prefer the Netgear. I thought I'd share this in case anyone has been experiencing similar problems with their onboard nics.
