pipposanta
Hi, I have an old Dell Dimension 4550 that I would like to use as an Hackintosh. It has a Pentium 4 as processor and I am thinking if is possible to use the retail dvd to install Tiger or better yet Leopard. Otherwise which "distro" is most compatible with this computer? Thanks in advance for the help!

Thanks in advance for the help! I basically have the same question with my XPS 400. I can install Kalyway 10.5.2 no problem on mine, but I really want to do the Boot 132/Chameleon EFI-boot vanilla retail install method which would be nicer from an updating perspective. The hard part is deciphering the Boot 132 kernel thread and discerning what I actually need.
