I'm trying to install Mac OS X on my laptop, LG P310-SP94K

The specs are as stated.

CPU : Intel Core2Duo T9400

Chipset : Intel PM45 - ICH9M

RAM : DDR3 PC1066 4GB

VGA : GeForce 9600M GT

First I tried to install iDeneb 1.4 10.5.6

but the installer gave me an error message like this

IOAPIC : Version 0x20 Vectors 0:23

I searched and googled, and disabled 2nd core on my cpu

and used cpus=1 option to get by,

only to see the kernel panic message..

Therefore, I gave up installing iDeneb and tried to install Retail DVD

by boot-132 image.

Using the basic 2 kexts, dsmos.kext and IntelCPUPMDisabler.kext

I got another ERROR message!!

unable to initialize UIM.

still waiting for root device

I googled that and read somebody cleared this problem by

inserting these files on the boot-132 image.

AppleUSBEHCI.kext

AppleUSBOHCI.kext

AppleUSBUHCI.kext

IOUSBMassStorageClass.kext

I tried this method, and got ERROR!!!

Waiting on <dict ID='0'><key>IOProviderClass</key><string ID='1'>IOResources</string><key>IOResourceMatch</key><string ID='2'>boot-uuid-media</string></dict>

How can I install Mac OS X 10.5.6 on this laptop??

plz help...

Attached is a picture who uses same laptop (only differ by CPU) and having the same problem.

He said he used 7 different installer versions and all of them gave him different error messages.

Anything new on your problem?

Had the same Notebook, thought because it has efi, all would be work like charm, but same problems here...

guys guys guys!

(or perhaps some girls too!)

you need to be clear!

have you already been past installation anytime with any distro?

i wouldn't be surprised if you, with your hardware, pulled off a Vanilla installation!

for suggestions, maybe try iAtkos! 4 or maybe 5!

and ideneb is also not a bad idea !

keep me posted!

ciao

First burn your dvd x4 (x2 even better).

Go in bios and confirm that your HD has the AHCI mode enebled.

You may disable some on board devices like audio, lan, wireless for safer installing. You will enable them after the installation and

give them the right drivers.

Boot from dvd. If you have any forbiden sign then boot dvd with -v and report.
