I also have the Intel DP43TF M/B and when I use the ALC888 kext from your link I get a load error on my AppleHDA.kext which this ALC888.kext depends upon. This ALC888VC.kext appears to be a repackaged HDAEnabler so it still requires a modified AppleHDA.kext. You need to also include your copy of the AppleHDA.kext which is obviously patched specifically for the ALC888VC.

This ALC888VC.kext won't do it all alone :P

If anybody has a patched AppleHDA.kext that works in tandem with this ALC888VC.kext, please post !

Otherwise it looks like it stays Azalia for me.

TIA

After look for every places I found this ALC888 kext that works perfectly.

My Hackintosh is:

DP43TF mobo

Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 2.83 GHZ

4GB RAM DDR2 800mhz.

ICH10R Chipset.

All works exelent, and finaly the sound in/out OK.

Not using this kext at all or AppleAzaliaAudio.kext. Gave up on both of these for the Intel DG43TF.

Using VoodooHDA.kext, but be sure to remove /S/L/E/AppleHDA.kext before trying the Voodoo thing or you may KP.

Hi, are u using this kext alone? Or with azalia?

Thanks

I am also using a DP43TF motherboard. I have tried both Azalia and VoodooHDA. Both seem to work well. The problem is that I want audio out from the S/PDIF header and I cannot seem to find any information on activating it. Anyone have any luck using the digital out?
