Guest pcharles25
Dual Boot Vista/win7 and OSX86 very easy way 1. Boot From Vista DVD -->split your harddrive make 2 partitions. 2. Install vista on the first partition then -->Reboot 3. Then --> install osx on the second -->Reboot 4. Boot from the vista dvd and make partition 1 active ( fix computer ) Diskpart select disk 0 select partition 1 active 5. Reboot 6. Get Vista Winboot error 5. boot off vista dvd 6. repair 7. Vista will now boot 8. make partition 2(osx) Active Run = > CMD Diskpart select disk 0 select partition 2 active exit 9. Reboot, OSX will now BOOT 10. Edit plist and make 8 second time out so you have enough time to hit F8 before OSX boots next time. 11. well there is'nt a 11th step because you are all set... if you want to boot VISTA just tap F8 when its counting down and there you have it .. Dual booting Vista and OSX !!! Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/159890-need-help-with-dual-booting/#findComment-1120187 Share on other sites

When I tried erasing it to the type it should be, it wouldnt work.
