New to OSx86 and I need help

Hello Everyone!

 

I am completely new to the OSx86 scene and I need help deciding whether my current computer specs can handle OSx86 and if it can, what distro/release I should use.

 

My detailed computer specs are in the .html file I've attached, but here are the basic specs:

 

• Processor: Intel 3.00 GHz P4 530 Socket 775 LGA (Code Name: Prescott) with MMX, SSE, SSE2 and SSE3 instructions.
  
• Motherboard: Dell 0M3918 with Intel i915P/915G Chipset (Rev. B1) and Intel 82801FB (ICH6) Southbridge
  
• BIOS: Dell A05
  
• Memory: 2GB of Dual Channel DDR2 (from OCZ)
  
• Video/Graphics Card: Intel 82915G/GV/910GL Express Chipset Family Graphics Accelerator (Built-In)
  
• Sound Card: SoundMAX Integrated Digital Audio (Built In)
  
• OS: Dual-boot partitioned 250GB hard drive with Win XP SP3 and Fedora 10. If I do install OSx86 I will probably be putting it on a seperate 40GB hard drive or possible triple boot it.
  

If you have any other questions about my computer then please let me know.

 

If everything works out, I may have some more questions regarding partitions and triple-boot (Windows XP, Fedora 10 and OSx86).
