Dr Nick 1013
I have Kalyway 10.5.6 and XP installed on the same HDD OSx86 is installed on a 30 gig logical partition (inside the extended one) and XP is in the primary one (275 gigs) I recently made the XP partition smaller and made the extended partition bigger to create a shared FAT32 partition (inside the extended one as well) When I rebooted, XP loaded fine, but when I chose to load OSx86, only a blinking line in the top left corner of the screen appeared. I use the 'chain0' method for booting. Is there any way that I can keep my OSx86 without having to reinstall? drnick Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/159856-multiboot-problem/ Share on other sites
Dr Nick 1013
Fixed: I needed to leave the extended partition alone and create a primary partition instead Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/159856-multiboot-problem/#findComment-1119911 Share on other sites
